CABINETS
"Fishing Cabinet"
Barn wood, distressed copper, pine, and mountain laurel.

All of Don's work is one-of-a-kind.  It is not production and he does not have anyone else helping him make the furniture.  Each rustic piece of wood that goes into his furniture is hand gathered omy the woods and fields that surrounds his studio on Rock Mountain.  He incorporates found objects into his pieces such as driftwood from the Chattooga River, a piece of beaver-gnawed wood, or perhaps a piece of discarded tin that someone once used for target practice!  His work is functional, comfortable, and built to last, making his creations prime candidates as tomorrow's heirlooms.  When purchasing one of Don's pieces, you can be assured of superior craftsmanship and artistry.

"Don & Sarah's Wardrobe"
This was a gorgeous piece that Don created with nationally known folk artist, Sarah Rakes, who painted the
interior in her vibrant, colorful style.  The outside of the wardrobe is covered with white pine bark and trimmed
out with mountain laurel dentils.  Painted dowels give a hint of the colorful suprise inside!
